The Nashville Workforce Network (NWN) stemmed from the Mayor’s Poverty Initiative in 2007. NWN’s approach to Workforce Development has formed bringing together government, nonprofit, business, educational institutions and private partners. Recent retirements in the organization sparked a restructuring of members and also a revitalization in their brand.
A new logo was developed, a social media presence has begun, and a new website has recently been revealed.
The mission of the Nashville Workforce Network is “To maximize the impact of workforce development organizations, employers and education institutions efforts in connecting job seekers to career opportunities while creating and maintaining collaborations within the community.”
